Cupcakes!

Soooo, I’ve mentioned before that I’ve been really busy with my exams lately and because of that, I haven’t had much time to hang out with my friends. I had a week with no exams so I slept over at my friend’s house and since we didn’t know what we could do there, we came down to the idea that we should bake something.

After a long long time, searching through the internet for recipes, we went with cupcakes. I don’t have much experiences with cupcakes as I’m not a really big fan of them cause they’re too sweet. I’m not one that likes food which are very sweet ): We initially wanted to bake red velvet cupcakes but after we found out that it needs lots of food colouring to make it red, we skipped it and went with chocolate banana cupcakes instead. I never knew cupcakes were so easy to make! It took us less than half an hour to make the batter and about less than an hour to finish off everything, including the baking. We used small cupcake cups cause we find that it would look cute and we would have more to give out to our friends, of course :b

Angel Food Bakery, Brighton

My friend and I were looking for some place to have tea and came across this bakery in the South Lanes in Brighton. The place looks really lovely and the cupcakes looks so pretty. We ordered a red velvet cupcake and a pink vanilla cupcake along with a cup of cappuccino and a latte.

Cupcakes were £1.75 each and drinks were £2.20 each. The red velvet cupcake was delicious but the pink vanilla was a bit dry. The cupcake looked so pretty that we didn’t want to eat it at first. Haha. Overall, it was a pretty good experience and I will definitely go back for more red velvet cupcakes and to try other different flavoured cupcakes!
