Review: BA STAR Smoky Eye Shadow Palette
I’ve recently received an eyes shadow palette to review courtesy of BA STAR and Brand Backer. =) They sent me a natural eye shadow palette that can be used to create different looks.
Besides eye shadows, they sell other beauty items such as cosmetic bags, head bands, mascara, etc. Ok so now for more information about the natural eye shadow palette. It comes in 5 different shades from a dark to light bronze/brown plus 2 glittery eye shadow that you can easily use to transform your look from day to night. =)
The colors are great for creating a natural smoky look and the pigmentation on it is great. Glides on really well and stays on. Here’s some swatches that I took.

Face Slapping
I saw this face slapping shop while I was out and about. At first I was like…what?? Face slapping? Then I went home and read about it and found out that it is a Thai beauty technique that’s supposedly used to help boost saggy skin and blast away your wrinkles.
What they do is they pat away at your cheeks, chin, forehead and try to move the fat and muscles around. At $350 per session..um..I don’t know. I’m kinda skeptical. If it was like $50 a session I may give it a try.
I think its too ridiculously expensive.
Julep Maven March
Another month another Julep box!! This month, we opted for the It girl box. It came with 3 nail polishes and a strawberry mint lip balm. The 3 polishes are Julep Shenae, Julep Simone and Julep Teri.
As usual, we split it in the office and now we have 3 girls working there so we split it evenly. hehe. I ended up with the Simone.Its a slightly metallic light purple color. I will post pictures when I use it.

Review: Neutrogena crease proof eye shadow swatches
I’ve recently received some samples courtesy of BzzAgent and Neutrogena. They gave me 4 items to try out.
- crease proof eye shadow in constant copper
- crease proof eye shadow in lasting taupe
- MoistureSmooth color stick in sweet watermelon
- healthy lengths mascara in black
I’ve yet to actually use these items but I’ve taken some swatches for the eye shadows and the color stick. The color looks really distinct and the color stick smells so good. Good enough to eat lol.

Hmm..I just realized that I forgot to post my November box. So here it is. The November box came with 2 polishes (Brit and Minka), one pink grapefruit body frosting (which smells amazing btw. I feel like anyone who puts the cream on will feel like a walking fruit lol), 3 small packs of one-step nail polish remover pad.

Julep Maven October
OMG, I just realized that I’ve been so slow in updating my posts. Hahah. This Julep post is kinda late but I guess better late than never. Lol. Anyways, we received the Julep October box and *surprise* there’s candy corn in it!
Besides 2 polishes, it came with candy corn, a quick dry for the nail polishes, 2 glitters and a bracelet for our anniversary. Everything was orange and ready for Halloween. It was pretty! Here’s the pictures! Enjoy. =D
